Once we receive your registration info, we will send you an email that reads the following: Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Get a Grip Doubles Pickleball Tournament. Your email has been received but does not guarantee entry. You have been placed on a wait list in order of your entry’s request date and time. As entries are processed you will be contacted within a maximum of 2 business days for payment.

CANCELLATION:

The cancellation deadline is March 12, 2019 at 4:30 pm. You may cancel your registration on or before Tuesday, March 12, 2019. No refund will be given if cancellation occurs after March 12, 2019.

FOOD:

Lunch will be provided to players on day(s) they play, plus food vendor(s) will be on site.

RULES/FORMAT OF PLAY:

Current IFP rules apply. No non-conforming equipment permitted. We reserve the right to combined levels, due to a shortage of participants in a particular bracket.

If you do not know what your skill level is, please go to http://ifpickleball.org/ifp-ratingdescriptions/ to read the chart provided to rate yourself. Alternatively, you may ask your fellow picklers to rate you after asking them to review the chart.

Teams must register at the highest skill level bracket between the two partners. For example, if one partner has a 4.0 rating and the other is a 3.5, you must register for the 4.0 bracket. The tournament director has the final say on your skill rating.
Participants may play up a level, but not down a level, and may only play one level or event a day.
Games will be first team to 15 points with no overtime.

Tournament results will be based on Wins, Points and Spread, and if still tied, a game to 9 points, win by 1.
