The 159th Cowichan Exhibition takes place September 17, 18 & 19, 2027
Gate Admission – Gate admission tickets secures access to the fairgrounds and the midway, but the midway ride passes are NOT included with gate admission. Midway Ride tickets are sold through West Coast Amusements. Check out Westcoast Amusements for pricing on their ride passes.

Know Before You Go
– Our address is 7380 Trans Canada Highway, North Cowichan.
– Payment methods accepted at the gates include cash, debit or credit cards. Individual vendors and food vendors may have their own payment methods.
– There’s an ATM Machine located in Mellor Hall.
– NO DOGS ALLOWED and NO DOGS ALLOWED TO BE LEFT IN CARS. Please ensure you leave your pets at home. Exceptions: Service animals and those participating in Exhibition sanctioned shows and competitions.
– Outside alcohol is not permitted on the fairgrounds. Alcohol purchased at the Beer Gardens must remain within the designated licensed area.
– The Fairgrounds are smoke and vape-free throughout all indoor and outdoor areas on the property.
– For the safety of our guests, volunteers, exhibitors and animals, bags may be subject to random inspection upon entry.
– If you leave the grounds and intend to return later in the same day, please ensure you get a wristband or you will not be able to re-enter.
– Parking is free on our grounds.
– Accessible parking is available with an accessible parking permit in your car.
– Traffic can be heavy around the Fairgrounds. Please move along when asked to by our parking crew. There are staff and volunteers all over the grounds who will be able to answer questions you may have about the Fair. The parking crew is there to greet you and help you to safely and efficiently park.

Parking is on-site and is FREE for everyone!
Important Fair Parking Improvements.
The traffic flow for the Fair has changed. This change has been made to get traffic off the highway faster. This will reduce the congestion and improve the safety at the Mays Road intersection.
The most important part of this change is the roadway that was a single lane exit from the parking field; it is now a two-lane road. All parking traffic will be directed down this wider roadway into the parking area. Please pay attention to the posted signs.
The exit from the parking area will also have some changes. A new path, laid out along the far west of the parking field, will be the priority exit lane. Follow the signs to the end of the parking bays for the easiest way back to the highway.
There will be three exceptions to this change.
Number One. Handicapped Parking behind Mellor Hall will remain the same. Cars will still be able to make a right hand turn into the Handicapped parking lot as before.
Number Two. Dropping off passengers at the ticket booths will be allowed by permitting a right hand turn onto the roadway fronting the ticket booths.
Number Three. Access to livestock will be the same as before with a right hand turn allowed.
Many thanks to Isle Golf Cars for sponsoring the Cow Ex-Press, a wonderful option when you want to get around the Exhibition but walking any distance is a challenge. Golf carts, courtesy of Isle Golf Cars, will be available again for the 2026 Fair, to shuttle visitors between the pick up and drop off points by the Parking lot, Mellor Hall, the Barns and the Tractor Pull Area
